Gateway and Hall Entrance, Ichilov Hospital, Tel Aviv
The Gateway is a unique structure resembling a bird composed of metal constructions and glass surfaces hung by spiders beneath the construction. The glass work complexity is unprecedented in Israel- in context of the roof measurements and the construction flexibility bearing the glass.
The glass elements are conected to the steel construction, using stainless steel "spiders"that alows the glass elments to move with the steel construction without braking.
The roof is sealed so the glass does not endure cracks and flaws during the construction movement.
The Hall Entrance was constructed beneath the existing building, and included parking, a garden, pavement, a restaurant and an Entrance Hall which includes a plaster and barisol (a stretched roof composed of plastic sheets) sculpture.
